Bias dictates it's my favorite city in the world. If I'm honest, there are cities I love (lookin at you Tokyo), but this one is mine. I grew up on Bozo the Clown, Veruca Salt, The Alley when it was the whole neighborhood, and serving coffee at Lenny's - Denny's - Denny's. This work is for you and your city. Because you breathed Chicago in until you were high on its bricks, its grit, it's wafts of weed smoke, and its beautiful, messy heart.
